Xtreme NYC - Day 3

Day 3 of Xtreme is here and gone. What an informative day. We took a lot of time today to work on our business and financial skills. Then, we all took models out all over NYC!!!! What a blast. It was quite a day. After we were finished by the studio, we all jumped in cabs and went to Times Square. When we got there, we weren't sure where the rest of our group was. So, we stood in the middle and waited to find everyone. When we found them, we took some great shots there! Then, we took a cab to Central Park. This time our cab driver took us to the wrong place. So, we finally arrived. Lastly, we went to the Meat Packing District. What a day. We ended with dinner then dessert at Serendipity where I had their famous frozen hot chocolate.

A Fun Evening

Tonight we went out on the town. We started at the Mesa Grill for some good food. Then, we took the subway to Times Square where we saw street artists and a rap video being filmed (among other things). Now, off to bed to rest up for tomorrow!

Xtreme NYC - Day 2

Today was our first official day of learning at the seminar. What a day - I got to meet so many people that I admire in the photography world. Everyone here is awesome - it's like family! So, we had sessions all morning and photographed models in the afternoon. Here are a few of my favorites:

We are well into our first day. We are having a blast. Here are a few shots from the studio we are working in.

Xtreme NYC - Day 1

Yesterday I flew to New York for the Xtreme Photography Seminar with the fabulous Lauren Clark. The ride was a little bumpy and warm, but we finally arrived. After a short cab ride, we arrived at our hotel which is right by the Empire State Building. After meeting my fun roomies, we went to eat in Times Square and toured the Empire State Building.

So, I will be coming back with tons of new info, tricks, etc. Be sure to check back for updates, pictures, etc. of the trip!

Today as I was online making final preparation for my trip, I came across this quiz and thought it was very appropriate since I am about to be in NYC...

Todd and Erin were married at the Merket Alumni Center. I absolutely love photographing there. It is so beautiful. This is a wonderful couple who are totally crazy about each other! They are easy to photograph because they are so into each other! It was an awesome day for an amazing couple! Thank so much you two!
