Keith & Brandi's Wedding

The anticipation is over...I am posting Keith and Brandi's wedding images. They were married at First United Methodist Church, and their reception was at the Merket Alumni Center. It was a fabulous day! To view their slideshow, click here. Here are a few faves...

Brandi had beautiful Antonio Melani shoes (I love his shoes)!!!

Their flower girl was nervously waiting to do her job.

It was a wonderful event. I was so honored to be a part! Thanks Keith & Brandi!!!

Wedding Faves - Flowers & Florists

Ok folks, it is time for another installment of my wedding faves. Choosing flowers and your florist is a very big decision. Flowers help set the mood and display the colors of your wedding.

First, I would like to share two of my favorite flowers. My all time favorite flower is the peony. I shot this picture of the bridesmaids peony bouquet at Jeremy & Vonda's wedding.
Another flower that I love is the Amaryllis. I had never heard of this flower until my sister-in-law's wedding. She used these everywhere and they were beautiful. (The below image is a stock image from a flower store online.)
So, now you need a florist. There are so many good florists here. I want to talk about a couple that I have had great experiences with.

Shirley with Celebration Floral has always done a beautiful job at the weddings I have photographed. She is very nice to work with and is extremely cretive.

Geoff at College Flowers is fabulous. His work is gorgeous! I have seen him go above and beyond for his clients!

If you would like further recommendations, please let me know!

Coming Soon...

Keith and Brandi's wedding images!! I don't want to display many images until Keith & Brandi see them first. So, check back this week for a longer entry about their wedding.

Jeremy & Lindsay

Jeremy and Lindsay were married yesterday at Polk Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo. I was so blessed to be a part of all of the festivites...and, believe me, there were lots of them!

We arrived Friday for the rehearsal. Lindsay looked gorgeous in her White House Black Market dress (I LOVE that store).

You may be wondering why I have a picture of these...well, Lindsay had 32 dozen candles in her ceremony!!! Therefore, the candle lighters had a very important job. So, each candle lighter had his own lighter with his name on it as well as a badge with OCL (official candle lighter) on it!

The rehearsal dinner was at Marizon Cafe. It was beautiful (and delicious)!

After the rehearsal dinner, I attended the lingerie shower! And, let me tell you, these ladies know how to host a fun party. Here are a few details from the shower...

One of the fun things the girls did was to name each of the pieces of lingerie Lindsay received. Let's just say, they were very creative. Then, the favorites were hung on the fireplace.

It was a fun evening and the wedding was amazing. Stay tuned for images from the wedding day!

Kara

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Kara. She is such a sweet person. We had so much fun shooting around town (even with the wind). Kara was so excited and willing to be creative with me; she is a great model! Thanks Kara!
